A gentle lifting solution softens the bonds in each brow hair so it can be brushed into a new direction, then a neutralizing solution locks that shape in place. What to Expect During Your Appointment
Consultation & Brow Mapping (10–15 minutes)
We start by looking at your natural growth pattern, hair density, and the shape you’re hoping for. We’ll review your history with brow products, recent treatments, and any skin sensitivities to confirm lamination is right for you — and we’ll set honest expectations about what your hair can and can’t do.
Lifting Solution (10–12 minutes)
Your brow hairs are cleansed and combed into their new direction, then the lifting solution is applied and timed precisely to your hair type. Fine hair processes faster than coarse hair, which is exactly why timing is done by eye rather than by the clock.
Setting Solution (8–10 minutes)
The neutralizer locks in the new shape. This is the step that determines how long your results hold, so it gets the same careful timing as the first.
Optional Tint or Henna (10 minutes)
Because the hair cuticle is open at this stage, brows take color beautifully right now. Adding a tint or henna stain darkens fine, light-tipped hairs that would otherwise disappear — this is where the “wow” in most before-and-after photos actually comes from.
Shaping, Nourishing & Aftercare (10 minutes)
We clean up stray hairs, apply a conditioning oil to rehydrate the brow, and walk you through the 24-hour rules. You’ll leave with your brows set and camera-ready.

Aftercare & How Long It Lasts
The first 24 hours matter most. While the new shape is still setting, keep brows completely dry — no water, steam, sweat, saunas, swimming, or makeup on the brow area. Sleeping face-down can crease the shape, so try to sleep on your back that first night.
After 24 hours you’re back to normal. From there, the routine is simple:
- Brush brows into shape each morning with a spoolie
- Apply a conditioning or castor oil nightly — lamination is a chemical process, and the oil keeps hair soft and healthy
- Avoid harsh exfoliants and retinols directly on the brow area
- Skip oil-heavy makeup removers right on the brows
Results last six to eight weeks. The exact number depends on your natural growth cycle — brow hairs turn over on their own schedule, and as new hairs come in they’ll grow in their original direction. Most clients rebook every eight weeks. We recommend leaving at least six weeks between lamination appointments so hair has time to recover.

Microblading may not be suitable for those who are pregnant or nursing, have diabetes, are prone to keloid scarring, have skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis in the brow area, or are currently using Accutane or retinol products. We'll review your eligibility during your consultation.
Yes, and it's a great combination. Lamination works on your natural hair and doesn't affect healed pigment in the skin. Wait until your permanent makeup is fully healed — at least 6–8 weeks after your last session — before booking a lamination.
Lamination may not be suitable if you're pregnant or nursing, have active eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or open skin in the brow area, are currently using Accutane or strong retinol products, have very fine or previously over-processed brow hair, or have had a prior reaction to a chemical straightener or perm. If your brows are extremely sparse, lamination has too little hair to work with and permanent makeup will serve you better. We'll assess all of this at your consultation.
